The Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) is a spacecraft led by the European Space Agency (ESA) to study Jupiter's icy moons.   JUICE's mission is to explore Jupiter's three largest icy moons, Ganymede, Europa, and Callisto, over the course of four years.

                                             JUICE's MISSION INCLUDES:

  • Characterizing the moons as planetary objects and possible habitats.

  • Exploring Jupiter's environment.

  • Studying the wider Jupiter system as an archetype for gas giants across the Universe.

  • Determining whether life is possible on the moons.

Over the next four weeks, participants will dive into the scientific wonders of Europa, Ganymede, Callisto, and the Galilean moons that beckon with their icy landscapes and mysterious subsurface oceans.
